IT WAS ALL A DREAM : HELP US GET TO NYMD & MORE

SEBASTIEN AMI. is a luxury menswear company with a unisex lens established by designer Sebastien Amisial and co-directed with partner Marianne Amisial. The company was created in February 2013 but began loosely operating in 2017. The brand began its operations during the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020. Since then, the brand has been seen on the likes of athletes such as Shia Gilgeous Alexander & Chris Paul, major celebrities such as Bad Bunny & Justin Beiber, as well as influencers such as Greg Notre & Devan Anderson. Countless others have also been seen wearing apparel and accessories that the company creates.

THE VISION of SEBASTIEN AMI. Is to provide utilitarian yet luxurious clothing and accessories for the modern-day artisan. The goal of the company is to re-establish the narrative of workwear that is more thoughtful in design for day-to-day and all-day wear; all the while heightening quality through fabrication, fit, and attention to detail.

Unfortunately, the company has seen a tremendous amount of hardships that have put both Marianne & I (Sebastien) in a very bad financial position. With little to no investment or financial assistance, we have put our all into this business and providing our audience with quality products that are meant to withstand the test of time. By doing so, we have put ourselves into deep financial hardship to pursue our dreams.

However, now...we need help. We are weeks away from hosting our very first fashion event with the CFDA via New York Men's Day this upcoming September 8th. For more context, UPS lost the original sample set (38 styles) that was meant to be used for this event a month ago. UPS will not reimburse us for the dollar amount that it cost us to produce it. We lost not only valuable samples for selling purposes during the wholesale season but potential wholesale orders, pop-up opportunities and collaborations. All of which would have kept us financially secure for this month and onward.

Now, we have no cash flow or money to get ourselves through the next 3 weeks, as well as pay our sample and production team for the work that we desperately need to remake. Fortunately, some of our team members understand but others (which is completely understandable) cannot move forward with assisting us. Needless to say, we want to be able to pay our team, as they have families too after all!

We need your help to get us there. We don't ask for much and we usually find a way in the end...but this time it doesn't seem like we're going to be able to cross the line to get to the very opportunity we've been dreaming for the past 10+ years. The fashion industry is very difficult to circumnavigate for small, up-and-coming brands. We've done almost everything with the help of our colleagues, family, and ourselves. Not to mention the amazing support from you, the customer. We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you!!!

All that we want to do is produce art at the highest level possible and provide the industry with a product that surpasses a physical context. Our biggest goal is to create a product that simply is functional and gives our customers a feeling of happiness. So...will you help us keep the dream alive? All we're asking for is $10, $20, $40 at a time. Nothing massive, but we do have a goal that will help us get out of the mess we're in. If you want to see this brand survive, please help!
