It Takes A Village..IVF Journey❤️

To our friends and family,

For those willing to open this and read our story, thank you. It is with both vulnerability and hope that we share a significant chapter of our lives with you. For the past 2 years Joey and I have struggled with infertility challenges. During this time we have both undergone a multitude of tests only to be diagnosed with Unexplained Infertility. This means that all of our lab results and tests that we went through all came back positive and normal, yet we are still unable to become pregnant. These past 2 years we have done five rounds of Clomid and three medicated IUI’s (Intrauterine Insemination) that included shots. Although we did get pregnant after our first IUI, it ended in a miscarriage that absolutely destroyed us. With that being said our next step moving forward is IVF (In Vitro Fertilization). So today, we are asking for your help and support.

For those of you that are familiar with fertility issues, you understand the heartbreak of everything as well as the huge financial challenge of it all as our insurance does not cover any fertility treatment. Up to this point we have paid for everything out of pocket, and although we have been saving we have learned just how much this process will cost. With full transparency we are looking at about $15,000 which includes Ultrasounds, Blood Work, Procedures, IVF Lab Fees, and Facility Fees, and this doesn't even include our medications which can range from $3,000-$5,000. At times, our pride has made us feel as though we need to do this all on our own and it has stopped us from asking for help. Over the years people have asked how they can help and most of the time we just tell them to pray. Honestly we were too ashamed to ask for help financially, until someone told us that we need to realize that people would love to help us, and be a part of our journey.

My mom always told me it takes a village to raise a child and we know we have the best village around us. That's why with humble hearts, we are reaching out to ask for your help. There is no easy way to say we would not be able to do this journey alone.

So how can you help?

Be a piece of our IVF story! We have purchased a 1,000 piece puzzle. Once you donate, we will write your name or family's name on the back of the puzzle piece. We will be “selling” each piece for $10. You can buy 1, 2, or 10 pieces if you wish, and the completed puzzle will be hung in the nursery in a double sided frame, displaying the names of those who generously contributed. This will be an amazing keepsake for us to cherish forever and be reminded of the amazing village that is behind us!

We have set up this GoFundMe account as the primary option, but we also have Venmo as an option as well.
