ROBIN WOEHLER has touched so many of our lives whether it is family, as a dear friend, or as part of a Bear Family. Over the last twenty years, she has worked with us at one time or another, at Build-A-Workshop, an organization that binds us together for like. At Build-A-Bear, we have a few sayings that truly exemplify Robin's life and what she means to us.
ONCE A BEAR ALWAYS A BEAR
Working with Robin, we saw so many wonderful sides of this woman:
*Robin is a leader to hundreds of people
*Robin take the time to communicate with everyone she encounters
*Robin is a warrior and strong woman
*Like a Bear, Robin is fiercely protective of her people and would do anything
for them.
*Working for or with Robin, she will be your friend and support for life
BEAR IN MIND TO ALWAYS BE KIND
Robin's most important job has been the raising of her daughter, Kate. Robin has
instilled in Kate to be a smart, compassionate and generous young lady....so very much like her Mother.
LOVE IS THE STUFF INSIDE

If you think about your own lives and everything that you and your family have had to deal with this year, imagine if you had to add one more thing .... a Cancer
diagnosis. Robin had not been feeling well most of the summer and due to the lack of insurance, she didn't see medical help. In September, she finally sought help and after extensive testing was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer that has metastasized to her liver. Robin has found a great doctor, Dr Erin Fleener who is ranked #3 in this field in her hometown of College Station, Texas. Robin will undergo Chemo treatment every 2 weeks to focus on her liver. There will be periodic blood work and additional testing will be performed to determine the effectiveness of the chemo. After six months of treatment, it will then be decided what is the next step....surgery on her colon or additional chemo.
IT IS OK TO LET YOUR STUFFING SHOW
On behalf of Robin, we are seeking donations to fund her medical expenses including chemo treatment, medicines, hospital stays and any additional surgeries that may be required. Robin has a long road ahead and any donation will be greatly APPRECIATED.
Please SHARE or FORWARD....and most importantly keep Robin in your thoughts and prayers.
BEARS ARE MEASURED BY THE SIZE OF THEIR HEARTS
Robin wanted to make sure the we included a request from her....GET TESTED!
The medical industry has recently changed the age to start having colonoscopies
performed at age 45.
Don't wait....make the appointment to have this test today. Knowledge is POWER!

THANK you one and all,
Bridget, Jenn, Tina, Kathi, Lindi and Christie
