This is my best friend friend Jessie, and beside her are her two girls- 15 year old Alexis and 18 year old Tahlia.
On the 20th of December in the early hours of Sunday morning, this beautiful Mamma of two lost her fight with a disease called Motor Neuron Disease (MND), passing peacefully in her sleep.
This fund is about her two girls that are left behind. They have suffered such a great amount in their short lives, losing their beloved 'Pop'- also to MND as it is a horrible genetic disease- and their Father in the last few years.
Jess was my best friend for 27 years. She had a heart of gold and everybody was drawn to her caring nature. She lost her battle at 37 years old, having only been diagnosed in early 2020 with an aggressive form of MND. She was one of the youngest in Australia to be diagnosed with this form.
Right to the end Jessie's sole focus was looking after her two girls Tahl's and Lexi as best she could.  Having lost both their parents in the last few years, we are asking for funds to cover funeral costs, school clothes, bills, education and whatever else they need to get through this period of grieving and to make the next few months as stress free as we can.
