It Takes a Village: Sarra’s Get Well Fund

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

I am reaching out on behalf of Sarra, who is currently facing a challenging time due to an emergency admission to Grady Hospital relating to her lungs/ breathing issues. She is undergoing hospitalization and requires specialized medical care that has resulted in mounting expenses. In 2019, Sarra underwent treatment for lung cancer including, but not limited to a portion of her lung being removed. Due to her history of lung issues, her hospitalization is more in depth and prolonged than originally anticipated.

The costs of specific treatments, medications, rehabilitation, etc., are beyond what she can manage alone. These funds will directly go toward covering medical bills, hospital stays, and associated costs like rent, utilities, etc, as she is unable to return to work for the foreseeable future.
