Dear Friends and Family,

The one and only Patricia Carpenter — Trisha, Trish, Patty, Mom, Auntie, Nana — is deep in the fight of her life. For over 20 years, she has battled thyroid cancer with courage, grace, and relentless strength. If you know her, or even if you don't, you know she’s not one to ask for help.

But now, we’re asking for her.

A few months ago, her cancer changed. It became more aggressive, and her doctors began a new chemotherapy treatment — one that has taken a serious toll on her body. The side effects are constant and brutal, especially the unrelenting nausea and vomiting.

And yet, if you know my mom (and even if you don't yet), you know she’s a true warrior. She’s the strongest woman I know. Fiercely independent. Unshakably generous. She opens her door for everyone and always saves a seat at the table.

Now, it’s time for us to show up for her — the way she always shows up for everyone else.
