Hi, my name is Amy. I am raising funds for a family friend, Lisa Tinsley. I met Lisa through early intervention. She worked with both my medically fragile children and has helped countless families and children for 25 years in early intervention. It’s her passion, and she truly loves working with children and their families.

On 3/10/23, she was diagnosed with rare, aggressive inflammatory breast cancer on the left side and DCIS on the right side. Chemo, surgery, radiation, and two reconstructive surgeries followed, with one more surgery scheduled for October 2025.

Her husband lost his job right after her diagnosis in March 2024 and has been out of work for 1.5 years. He has done adjunct work and odd jobs here and there, but nothing permanent.

She has worked full-time through chemo to keep her family afloat. Due to her diagnosis, she has missed a lot of work because of radiation, multiple surgeries, and appointments. She also has several appointments a month due to lymphedema and is still in active treatment. Medical bills continue to pile up. Her husband and she have two amazing girls, one who just graduated and the other who started college last year. The medical bills and financial strain on them are never-ending. I’m setting up this GoFundMe in honor of my mother, who I lost in 2024 to cancer after a 7-year battle. Please donate and help a really hardworking, loving, selfless family through this tough time.
