It has been brought to my attention by a friend who works at Huron Valley Schools that a local family is hopelessly facing all of our worst nightmares: home foreclosure, past due payments, overdue bills, recovery from medical issues, and temporary sudden unemployment.

This family of 7 (plus 3 fur babies) has found itself in extremely challenging times. With the main breadwinner being a para in our Huron Valley School District who works with the most impaired students, being out of work for three months due to medical needs, and the other supportive parent recently losing his job, this family is struggling immensely.

Working as a para, she provides care to the most impaired students who need assistance with toileting, feeding, and other management that has put a strain on her already struggling medical issues. This mother has started working 2 jobs to attempt to catch up for the previous challenging months and could use our support.

With multiple challenges back to back, this family has fallen behind in all areas of bills from mortgage foreclosure letters, off phone bills, past due car payments, and struggling with other day-to-day needs.

Please find it in your heart to help me give this family hope and a sense of security while they work to recover financially.
