It Takes A Nation Podcast Startup

Donation protected
My name is Terry Bradley and I am a recent graduate from Montana State University where I majored in Elementary Education with a Science Option. Out of six children, I am the second to graduate high school and the first to graduate from college. Throughout my tenure at the university, I have concluded that I want to make a difference in the world and share my knowledge to advocate, educate, and empower communities whose voices are often ignored. Through this podcast, I hope to show people how and what it means to succeed instead of just survive in a country that is no longer built for them.

Please read further as I describe the podcast, outline episode format, layout startup costs, and summarize donation tiers & perks.

Podcast Description:
From raising a child to making political change we know it takes more than a village, it takes a nation. Through an indigenous lens, this podcast will take a unique approach to politics, civic engagement, community, and pop culture. Guests include but are not limited to close friends, family members, local leaders, community members, and mentors of the host where they will discuss these complex and often difficult topics with genuine, honest, and open dialogue.
The weekly episodes will be broken into two main parts. The first half will consist of reviewing a current event or effort, getting the host’s personal take on the matter, and receiving ways the audience may mobilize in response. The second half of the podcast will consist of a dialogue with a guest who, if they so choose, decide the topic of discussion.
The goal of the podcast is to showcase how one person, in this case, the host, is influenced by a community and simultaneously influences a community. Guiding the audience to the conclusion that ideas and solutions can easily come from one person, but it takes a nation to make real change. After each episode the audience will be directed to the It Takes A Nation website where they will find additional resources, articles, and information on the topics discussed that week.
