It pains me to do this, but...

My name is Len Torney. Those of you who know me personally know I have been going through a rough time lately dealing with an ugly divorce and trying to secure permanent housing. This past Monday, 5/22/23, I had to leave work early because I was having a hard time breathing and go to the hospital where I was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. There is no cure for this condition, the symptoms are merely treated. I DO have health insurance, but it doesn't cover everything. I DO have a full time time job, but between court dates for my divorce hearings, and now having to deal with doctors appointments and copays, I have missed quite a bit of time at work and I am being being stretched pretty thin. I am also dealing with other medical and dental issues which are starting to become problematic for me. I have used up all my paid time off. It pains me to have to come here with my hat and my hand and ask for charity, but my situation is becoming desperate. I do not feel I am asking for an exhorbitant amount of funding, just enough to get myself back on my feet and keep my head above water during these difficult times.
