Hello.. my name is Mariam King the mother of Falicia King. On Thanksgiving night, my daughter Falicia was involved in a horrific automobile accident. She barely escaped death, but her injuries are so severe and complex that I really can't totally list them due to their graphic nature. At this time, she is sedated and in the ICU at Stanford University hospital. She has multiple fractures throughout her body including fractures of all her limbs, her pelvis, and her facial bones. She also suffered a brain injury. Her injuries will require many surgeries and reconstruction over the next year or more. There is a long road to recovery ahead. When conscious, she has asked about the condition of her dog Zero, who was unfortunately killed in the accident. He was her therapy dog. She remains unaware of his death as she probably couldn't handle that blow at this time.
My daughter's condition has made it impossible for me to work for the foreseeable future in that Falicia will require my total support. I'm a single mom. I'm in fear of the impending expenses and my ability to pay for my housing and living costs. I'm reaching out to all the parents out there who can maybe understand somewhat of what I'm going through. I humbly ask for whatever financial support you might be able to provide and also your prayers! God bless you and thanks!
Falicia is a 29 year old young woman with a playful spirit. She enjoys helping people planning parties and joyous occasions and, in fact, started her own business doing so. She especially loves arranging children's gatherings. She absolutely loves animals. Falicia has always been a girly girl and leaves a little sparkle wherever she goes.
In loving memory to Zero the hero.
I believe Zero saved my daughter’s life. Thank you Zero. We love you!
