Ballater School Parent Council are fundraising for some much needed IT equipment for the school. The school desperately needs up to date iPads, Chromebooks and laptops to support day to day learning as well as the teaching of Technologies Core Curriculum. Current equipment is out of date and needs to be replaced, and unfortunately cannot be purchased by the school due to limted local authority budgets.

So we are asking for help! Any donation, big or small, will be of enormous benefit, it all adds up.

These are some of the items the school needs to purchase (in multiples):

iPads: £296 (or £321 with a hard case)

Chromebooks: £194

HP Windows Laptops: £443

(All items will be purchased through Aberdeenshire Council).

Use of technology in school is so important for pupil engagement, support for learning, developing 21st century skills, and providing access to vast online resources for independent learning, amongst other things.

Thank you.
