"I Stop for Pedestrians" Car Magnet

At some point in the day, every one of us is a pedestrian. While other types of traffic fatalities have been steadily decreasing, pedestrian fatalities have risen by 27 percent in the last ten years. Children and older adults are at greatest risk. My siblings and I are working to make something beautiful and positive come out the tragic, preventable death of our mother, Judi Merlin .

We are asking you to declare your commitment to anticipate and stop for pedestrians of all ages by displaying our magnet on your car. Your contribution supports the design, production and distribution of car magnets. We are getting the magnets at cost, thanks to our generous friends at DIA Designs. Any proceeds will be given to a non-profit organization dedicated to ending traffic fatalities and promoting safe mobility for all.

Magnets should be available by late May/early June. We are so grateful for your support and look forward to seeing these magnets throughout our communities. We hope they will spark conversation as well as action that can save lives. -Hilary Merlin
