I was the one who set up the #IStandWithJamar Gofundme 5 months ago during Big Brother Canada 8. I mention this so you can feel secure donating & knowing I will give the money where I say it will go.

Da'Vonne Rogers & Bayleigh Dayton Williams are both contestants on the show Big Brother, currently in their 2nd All Stars season. They both decided to return to the show, even though they know people of colour like them are usually at an unfair disadvantage from the start. They went on for the bigger picture, to bring awareness through this platform. The world is not well right now, we are noticing a push for change, so every little bit counts. Big Brother is a social game that reflects society & racism is often present on this show. This season is no different since every week, a person of colour is put on the nomination chair. This week it's Da'Vonne & Bayleigh. On top of this, other houseguests have used microagressive comments in their regard throughout the season (questioning if Bayleigh stole Janelle's clothes, which was loaned to her by Janelle herself. The current HOH Christmas saying she will be shot or stabbed for putting them on the nomination block, etc). This is an ongoing theme on this show, season after season, with little to nothing done by the production team to fix the problem. As fans I ask that we come together to help Da'Vonne & Bayleigh achieve their goal. Let's help them pass on the message by supporting the BlackLivesMatter movement with a donation in their name. Whatever fund we manage to get with this Gofundme, we will split evenly between 1 BLM charity chosen by Da'Vonne & 1 BLM charity chosen by Bayleigh. We can't change the show but we can support their cause. Who's with me?
