I’m swimming 5 miles (probably a whole lot more) to help the American Cancer Society (ACS) fight for a world without cancer.

This is a very meaningful cause to me. My dad had cancer when he was my age and had people not raised money for cancer research, my dad (and I) would not be here today.

I am also doing this to honor my first ever swim coach, who has recently fought the fight against cancer (and WON). She taught me how to swim and encouraged me to swim competitively. I love this sport because of her.
