On the morning of April 13th, 2016, Israel Chairez was involved in an automobile accident with a semi-truck, causing severe and extensive injuries.  He was transported to Denver via the Flight for Life helicopter.  A tear in a cardiac artery was repaired with a stent, but he faces several more surgeries in the future.  Due to the extent of the injuries to his arms and legs, it will be a long time before he regains the use of them, if at all.  Doctors say these are the worst injuries they have ever seen. He will have an long and difficult recovery time.

Israel has a wife and five children.  He is the sole provider for the family. 

The money raised through this GoFundMe account will be used for medical expenses.   The goal of $10,000 will only begin to help offset the expenses incurred as a result of this tragic accident.
