My name is Madely, Israel’s mom, he is an 8 yo happy lovely kid, this weekend while we were in Orlando giving him an early birthday surprise, he started feeling really bad, by monday he couldn’t stand by his own and lost his contious, we took him to Neumors children’s health emergency, after several blood tests, brain scan, and spinal fluid tests, they finally has an answer bacterial infection meningitis caused by neumococo, we were concerned and scare, because he was healthy and vaccinated, then doctor said the cause might be under his nose, scan showed a big mass coming from the brain throughout the nose possible encephalocele, he is awake now but fighting pain from head to back, he can’t walk or have movement because instantly the pain to his head neck and back returns, he is with 5 antibiotics, steroids, medicine for vomiting, for pain and for stomach, he is not able to eat because inmidiatly he feel bad, right now we are expecting to be here for 14 days just to fight the meningitis but then comes the MRI to confirm the diagnosis and discard any brain damage and the surgery, Israel doesn’t have insurance, we live in Miami, at this moment our family is separated, im at PICU in the hospital with my Israel, while dad, Olivia and JJ are in Miami, the person that is helping with the babies have to leave and then they will have to stay here with me, we have nobody at Orlando, and the bills are increasing, day by day, so please if you are reading this, your contribution really mean a lot to us, thanks in advance and God bless you and your family
