Israel Ruiz's Medical Expenses

Hello,

My name is Monica Mercado, and I have started this account for Israel Ruiz, who is battling metastatic throat cancer. My family initially met him in January 2020 as an employee of our family-owned and operated business, Mercado's Dumpster Service. Israel is not only an employee of ours. He is a friend, husband, father, grandfather to 10, and one of the kindest, most genuine, and hard-working human beings my family and I have ever met. There was not a day he didn't arrive to work with a smile on his face, then offer everyone he saw a stick of gum before going home. He was always polite, respectful, and highly trustworthy. Needless to say, he is very much missed by his coworkers.

Upon receiving his diagnosis, Israel felt it was best to retire after a lifetime of trucking. He is now home, not only caring for himself but also for his wife, who is also battling her own ailments. While Israel's prognosis does not look very good, we at Mercado's Dumpster Service are hoping to raise some extra funds for him, and his family, to ease his transition into his sudden retirement.

Any funds raised will go directly to Mr. Israel to help with any medical and personal expenses he may have.
