In Loving Memory of Izzi- Funeral expenses & family support
Don protégé
Aloha, my name is Erica, and I’m Israelʻs youngest daughter. On April 7, 2025, our family received the most devastating news that no one should ever have to hear. We lost our beloved Izzi. He was not just a father, husband, grandfather, and friend. He was the heart of our family. Unfortunately, our time with Izzi was far too short. We are struggling to process this immense loss, and while we’re doing our best, it has been incredibly difficult.
Izzi was the most loving and caring person to walk this Earth. He always had a listening ear, offering comfort to anyone in need, and was there with love and support no matter what. His dedication to his wife, Diana, was unmatched. He adored her beyond words and made sure she always felt loved, cherished, and supported in the most unconditional way.
As a father, he loved both of his daughters, Ashley and myself, with a devotion that was beyond anything we could ever describe. His love extended beyond us, embracing Diana’s three children as his own. His heart was so big, and he made sure they knew they were just as special to him as any child could be.
But perhaps the role that Izzi loved most was being a grandpa. He was the proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren, and he made sure they felt his love with every hug, kiss, and squeeze. They were the light of his life, and he always made time for them, no matter how busy life got.
Izzi was a man of great faith, deeply connected to the Lord. His relationship with God was central to his life, and he always found peace and strength through his faith. Although our hearts are shattered that he is no longer physically with us, we take comfort in knowing that Izzi is now at peace, happily in Heaven, and with the Lord. We know that he is surrounded by love, free from pain, and experiencing the joy of eternal life.
We are asking for your support during this heart-wrenching time. The funds will be used to help family members travel to Washington to be together and support one another, cover funeral expenses, bring Izzi home to Hawai’i to rest beside his father, and allow family members the time they need to heal and grieve.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will help our family as we navigate this painful journey. We are so grateful for your love, prayers, and support during this incredibly challenging time.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
With love,
Izziʻs ʻOhana
