Following the success of Tough Mudder 2023 and 2024, where members of Alcumus raised £3.5k for Macmillan Cancer Support and over £1.7k for MIND, we have decided we’ll be back again for 2025.
We’ve just about made it through the mud, electric shocks, running (or speed walking) and freezing cold water with lots of laughter, camaraderie and a big sigh of relief at the end!
This year, we’ll be running, climbing and crawling along for Big Life Group's charitable arm - Big Issue North Trust that raises funds to provide a range of support for Big Issue North magazine sellers. This includes support accessing services, help getting ID, home furnishing packages and projects such as breakfast clubs. Big Life Group fight inequality by working with people and places to create opportunities and inspire change.
We aim to raise awareness and support Big Issue North in their mission to empower those within the community to change their lives for the better (and probably get a bit covered in mud along the way).
