Hi! My name is Isobel Innes and I recently accepted my offer to go to Oxford University. I've lived on my own in the YMCA from age 16, pushing myself to work hard during my A Levels despite this. I come from a low income family, and so gathering the funds to enable me to go to Oxford has been tricky (my mother does not support me at all, I rely on my father) but thanks to Student Finance Loans I will be able to cover the majority of the costs.

I've started this GoFundMe because a lot of people were responding to an article written about me in my local news outlet (https://www.gloucestershirelive.co.uk/news/gloucester-news/sixthformer-who-lived-ymca-cheltenham-4433474 ), and I'm incredibly grateful for the massive offering of support that I have received from people who have never even met me!

The goal is only £50 because the major cost I need to cover is for my subfusc (Oxford formal-wear/robes used for ceremonies). This consists of the Undergraduate Commoner's gown, a mortarboard cap, a white shirt and black skirt/tights/shoes with a ribbon. I really appreciate all of the kind words sent my way, and I hope I don't let any of you down.
