Hello, my name is Ismael and I recently graduated with my Master's degree in Theological Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. I first received the call to full-time ministry back in 2016, while serving at a local church in the South Suburbs of Chicago. Overtime, I have learned to trust God as he only discloses just enough of all that my call to ministry, consists of. My responsibility has been and continues to be: to follow him. I am the first in my family to go to college and graduate school. Because I come from a single-parent home, my family and I had limited resources which forced me to incur debt during undergrad. By the time the thought of going to seminary arose, I stepped out on faith because I believed God. I quit my full-time job and relocated. I had no car and all my remaining savings went to paying for seminary. I can confidently say that by the grace of God, I did not have to take even one loan out! I made it through seminary debt free. Investing all my resources into finishing my degree meant that I was unable to save for a car. As I continue to respond to God's call to follow Christ, I believe he is leading me to move from my current suburb community, to the inner-city neighborhood of Little Village in Chicago, IL. For me to get there and be mobile, I need a car. Thus, I am asking anyone and everyone who may know me, believe in God's calling on my life, and want to support me as I make this transition, to consider donating. Will you help me as I seek to participate in what God is already doing, and will do, in the Little Village neighborhood of Chicago, IL?
