As many know, my brother Ismael Escamilla, former San Benito student and football player has been hospitalized for three weeks, going on one month now. It all started with him having dizzy spells, unconsciousness and one morning it escalated to him having a seizure right before my mom, while he was getting ready for work. He had just left his job as a corrections officer to work with FedEx part time. He had never gone through any of this before so it is something new he and our family are experiencing. He has lost control and strength to the left side of his body so he won’t be able to work when he gets discharged from the hospital and will have to be going through therapy at an inpatient facility. My mom is doing everything she can to be there for him and get as much prayer warriors to pray for him. Unfortunately prayers don’t cover bills and with him not being able to work anymore, and not having insurance, this is the reason for making this page. COVID-19 is real and thus we do not feel comfortable doing fundraisers so we can limit contact. If possible, we are asking for donations of any amount. Cents, dollars, what you can donate is all appreciated and will all be going toward his medical bills and therapy. Everything and anything is greatly appreciated.
