Ismael Elias, May 17, 1974 - August 14, 2021

Covid now feels different for me.
 
Since the beginning of the pandemic, I have known many friends and family members who had come down with Covid and recovered from it. Every time I read the story of the many people who had lost their lives to this illness, I would get very sad but I still felt distanced and lucky. Well, things finally changed for me when Covid took the life of one of my colleagues whom I had known since 1994, first at @Gourmet Kitchens and later at @Grecian Delights Foods. Ismael Elias was a kind, popular and smart individual who passed away on August 14, 2021 at age 47. For me, Covid now feels different. I will definitely miss Ismael’s annual upbeat holiday texts, but for his wife Cinthia and six year old daughter Isabella, his loss means a lot more. Please help me with contributing to this fund and reposting on social media in order to assist Cinthia financially in raising Isabella.
