Ismael’s Tumor Surgery & Skull Reconstruction

As a parent I never  imagined making a page like this for a loved one . My son Ismael (24) took responsibility to provide for our family after his father retired due to health problems.  When his not working he enjoys to spend time with his family, and friends. He’s favorite pastime is listening to music and playing football with his younger brother. Everyday he tries to be  the best role model for his brother. About 2 months ago we noticed a bump on Ismael’s forehead but we didn’t think much of as it looked like he had bumped into something . As time went by it continued to grow in size and like every parent I got worried and convinced him to go to the doctor. I was not expecting to hear the news that my son had been growing a tumor. This tumor had been growing silently and rapidly.  The tumor had been growing along the back of his skull and over time it has progressed to the front and it has now affected his left eye. Even under these circumstances my son still worries how is he going to be able help our family or what will happen if he can’t go back to work. It’s hard to see your child in constant pain and knowing that there’s nothing you can do to relieve the pain.  Surgery to remove this tumor is not only expensive but it’s also extremely long and delicate. The extend of the tumor has done damage to his skull and he will also be getting skull reconstruction using parts of his hip bone.  This is all very hard on us but his health and well-being comes first. I would appreciate it from the bottom of my heart if you guys could help out with anything even the smallest donation helps towards his surgery, medical bills and post surgery recovery.  Any donation is well received and prayers for my son.  Thank you  

Como padre nunca imaginé hacer una página como esta para un ser querido. Mi hijo Ismael (24) asumió la responsabilidad de cuidar de nuestra familia después de que su padre se retirara debido a problemas de salud. Cuando no trabaja, le gusta pasar su tiempo con su familia y amigos. Su pasatiempo favorito es escuchar música y jugar fútbol con su hermano menor. Cada día intenta ser el mejor modelo para su hermano. Hace unos 2 meses nos dimos cuenta de un golpe en la frente de Ismael, pero no pensamos mucho de lo que parecía que se había golpeado  en algo. Con el paso del tiempo siguió creciendo en tamaño y como cada padre me preocupaba y lo convenció de ir al médico. No esperaba escuchar la noticia de que mi hijo había estado creciendo un tumor. Este tumor había estado creciendo silenciosa y rápidamente. El tumor había crecido a lo largo de la parte posterior de su cráneo y con el tiempo ha progresado hacia el frente y ahora ha afectado a su ojo izquierdo. Incluso en estas circunstancias, mi hijo sigue preocupado por cómo va a ser capaz de ayudar a nuestra familia o qué pasará si no puede volver al trabajo. Es difícil ver a su hijo con dolor constante y saber que no hay nada que pueda hacer para aliviar el dolor. La cirugía para extirpar este tumor no sólo es cara, sino que también es extremadamente larga y delicada. La extensión del tumor ha dañado su cráneo y también va a ser reconstruido con partes de su hueso de cadera. Todo esto es muy difícil para nosotros, pero su salud y bienestar son los primeros. Lo agradecería desde el fondo de mi corazón si ustedes pudieran ayudar con cualquier cosa incluso la donación más pequeña ayuda a su cirugía, facturas médicas y recuperación postoperatoria.
