The Isle of Arran Music School Pipe Band has been given the incredible opportunity to travel to New York in 2027 to take part in the world-famous Tartan Day Parade — a celebration of Scottish culture, music, and heritage in the heart of Manhattan.
For our young musicians, this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Representing the Isle of Arran and Scotland on an international stage is something they will remember forever. The trip will allow our players to perform alongside pipe bands from across the world, build confidence, create lifelong memories, and proudly showcase Scotland’s rich musical traditions.
As a community music school and charity, we are working hard to make this dream possible for every band member. However, the costs of international travel, accommodation, uniforms, instruments, transport, and parade participation are significant.
We are asking for your support to help get our pipe band to New York.
Every donation — no matter the size — will help:
- Cover flights and travel expenses
- Provide accommodation for band members
- Transport instruments and equipment
- Support the band’s participation in the New York Tartan Day Parade
The Isle of Arran Music School has spent years encouraging young people through traditional Scottish music, giving them opportunities to learn, perform, and grow in confidence. This trip would be a huge milestone for the band and for our island community.
By donating, you are helping young musicians from Arran share their talent and Scottish heritage with the world.
Thank you for supporting the Isle of Arran Music School Pipe Band and helping us march proudly through New York in 2027!
