Project Simon Peter is a fundraising campaign initiated by Island Pacific Seafood Market, a Filipino Grocery Store, for the fishermen in Philippines affected by Typhoon Odette.
Since the campaign launched in January, Island Pacific has turned over the first batch of boats last February 19 to the fishermen in the Islands of Siargao and Palawan. The goal of Project Simon Peter is to provide boats for 120 fishermen by Easter Sunday so they can have a source of livelihood again.

What is Project Simon Peter?
Project Simon Peter is Island Pacific Filipino Supermarket’s fundraising initiative for the benefit of fishermen in Palawan and Siargao who lost their boats when Typhoon Odette hit the Philippines last December impacting 9.9 million lives and bringing $262 million (P13.4 billion) worth of agricultural damage.
