I live on a boat with my family in the Bahamas for about half the year.

When we first sailed to the Bahamas, we were very surprised by the third-world conditions on some of the remote islands.

Think crumbling buildings, no running water, as well as limited and very expensive food.

Tariffs on goods imported to the Bahamas make everything extremely expensive, and most everything is imported to the Bahamas. This includes school supplies, clothing, and food.

I sent an email to the principal of a school on one of those remote islands that I absolutely fell in love with, asking if they needed any assistance, and she responded!

All of the money donated will go towards items for the school, items will be brought over in November.
