Island Cultivation and Growth: Tropical Plant Nursery

Aloha friends,

My name is Mila, and I’m on a mission to bring beauty, sustainability, and joy to O‘ahu through something rooted in love: a tropical plant nursery grown straight from my heart—and my backyard.

What started as a personal passion for gardening has blossomed into a dream of creating a home-based nursery where I can grow and share stunning tropical plants like Alocasias, succulents, and cacti with others across the island (and beyond!). I’ve learned how to care for these plants from bulbs, repot them with intention, and nurture them into the kind of lush, vibrant life that brings peace to any space.

Now, I’m ready to take the leap—but I can’t do it alone.

With your support, I’ll be able to:

• Set up a greenhouse and irrigation system

• Get certified to sell healthy, pest-free plants in Hawai‘i

• Purchase soil, pots, and beautiful starter plants for propagation

• Build a small website and create signage to launch local sales

• Spread more green love across the community/international
