Isla Survival and Transition Fund

Hi, I'm Isla. I am a trans woman currently living in New York after fleeing Texas to escape the consistent risk of persecution and in hopes of starting a better life. Right now, I am between jobs and struggling to afford rent, medical care, and food/litter for my cat D'artagnan. I am only hoping to use this fundraiser for a reprieve until I find employment, but I am now at risk of losing what little I have due to unforeseen circumstances. This fundraiser will no longer be active once I find a job that can afford the cost of living in this new environment.
