This beautiful happy girl is Isla Ann Gancs.

This picture was taken on Monday 6th of December 2021 at Monash Childrens Hospital. Isla and her Mum Kirsty were visiting for her six monthly MRI, a routine follow up to confirm that Isla was still doing well after winning her monumental battle with brain cancer 2 years ago.

Yesterday the family received the shocking and devastating news that Islas tumor has returned. Their nightmare must begin again, and time is of the essence.

Instead of the happy Christmas Kirsty, Josh, Wyatt, Samson and Isla had planned, they are instead facing a lumbar puncture to determine a plan for chemo and radiation for this darling little girl. Isla has had multiple surgeries previously and even travelled to the US for proton therapy - however, surgery is not an option again.

Isla has already endured so much in her 4 short years.
