ISKCON Denver Sankirtan Van
Dear devotees and well wishers,
Please accept our most heartfelt obeisances. All glories to founder-acarya Srila Prabhupada!
We at the brahmacari ashram here in ISKCON Denver are raising funds for a van which we will use for travelling sankirtan - the distribution of transcendental literatures and the Holy Name for the benefit of all living entities. Now more than ever, a revolution of consciousness is needed in society, let us work together to make further progress in this endeavor!
Our primary objective is to increase our book distribution efforts in pursuance of increasing Srila Prabhupada's pleasure. As he wrote in a letter to Giriraja dasa brahmacari in 1971: "I am most pleased especially to hear that you are distributing many books. Go on increasing books, and go on increasing my pleasure."
This program is inspired by His Holiness Giriraja Maharaja and His Grace Vaisesika Prabhu who have both given their blessings and would like to see that Srila Prabhupada's revolutionary mission continue to grow by way of this Denver travelling sankirtan party.
And of course, Her Grace Nidra Devi who has been distributing books everyday for decades as part of ISKCON Denver is also giving her blessings and this program will only be a fruit of her dedication to Srila Prabhupada's book distribution.
The money raised will be used for
a down payment on a van, the construction of the interior, items needed for travelling, and any excess will be used for further payments on the van.
Even if you can only donate a small amount, you are contributing to the cause of thousands of books to be distributed and thousands of people eternally benefitted. By contributing something, no matter how seemingly insignificant, you are taking part in the sankirtan mission and Srila Prabhupada and the previous acharyas will certainly be pleased with you.
