Support ISKCON Cebu After Natural Disasters

Dear friends, we (Kula and Jahnavi) are appealing for your help to support ISKCON Cebu's Relief Efforts after multiple hits from natural disasters in the last month. The infrastructure of the island is already delicate, and the region vulnerable to such events. This string of natural disasters has been the most severe since 2013.

Kula's family are from Cebu, and he has both friends and family in the regions severely affected by this disaster.

We are organising this fundraiser to assist with raising donations for ISKCON Cebu Food for Life outside of the Phillipines as international arrangements can be challenging to navigate. Every dollar donated will be transferred by us directly to ISKCON Cebu's Food For Life program.

On September 30th a 6.9 earthquake hit Bogo, followed by Cyclone Tino on November 4, and Super Typhoon Uwan right after on November 9 — local devotees on the ground describe that it has been one blow after another for communities and families, many of whom have lost everything.

Food for Life and Krishna Disaster Relief on the island are trying their best to serve those who are suffering. With global warming intensifying, these weather disturbances are becoming more frequent and more destructive.

Over 2,200 hot, plant-based, nutrient-dense bowls of sanctified food (prasadam) were lovingly distributed to the victims of the 6.9 magnitude earthquake that struck on September 30, 2025, and to those affected by the subsequent 5.8 quake on October 13, 2025 — along with over 10,000 aftershocks that shook the province in just two weeks.

Your help, and the help of our global community, gives strength and courage to those feeding, helping, and supporting the people who are going through unimaginable hardship. Volunteers continue to reach out daily as an offering of kindness, compassion, and service to humanity.
