Hello, I'm Isis! My living situation has not been the best since me and my ex partner were evicted from our flat due to the landlord wanting to sell the building a few years ago. After that we had a temporary rental for 3 months, and then after that we had to move into his mum's house. We then broke up and I had to continue living there for months after that as I had no where else to go, until I found a static caravan to move into. As good as it was to get out of that situation, I'm only 5 mins down the road from my ex partner, and my caravan is quite dated. It's drafty, leaky, and gets so cold in the winter time. I've been feeling so isolated and lonely in this caravan as many of my closest friends live a few hours down south. I finally found a van to start converting to my new home to finally be free of this depressing era of my life, however I have been living out of my overdraft since being evicted as my first van broke down the day before I had to be out of the flat, and the one I scrambled to get to carry on moving out broke down so many times and cost me so much. I've also had to take out a loan to actually buy the van I have now, which I am still paying off. Although I have the van, it is still pretty much empty in the back so I can't really go away anywhere in it as it is right now, meaning I'm just stuck here at my caravan. I was talking with a good friend recently and she suggested I set up a go fund me to ask for help and receive it, which is something I really struggle to do. I feel like a burden asking for help and feel guilty receiving it so I just never do, I suffer in silence instead. So I decided to step out of my comfort zone and set up a go fund me incase anyone is willing and able to help me finally be able to get my van converted and move into it so I'm no longer tied to one lonely place and can actually start living and enjoying my life again after a good 5 years of depressing event after depressing event.
