Isis the Friendly Dog has Glaucoma

Hi everyone, my name is Kathryn and I'm raising money for my wonderful best friend, Isis the Friendly Dog, to get her eye removed. About a month and a half ago, we took Isis to the vet for her booster shots and her well vet check up, and she was declared totally mostly fine with developing cataracts. The very next day, she could not open her eyes. We thought it might be a vaccine reaction, so the vet gave us some drops for her and that seemed to help for a week. Then on the eighth day both her eyes were shut again and seemed to be paining her something fierce. We took her back to the vet, and then another vet for a second opinion and the new diagnosis was corneal damage. We got some new goop to put in just her right eye and within days, her eye was swollen and weepy. Our local vets didn't seem to know what was causing it, so we took her to Animal Eye Care in Santa Rosa where the vet told us that poor Isis has extremely advanced glaucoma in her right eye and is in a lot of pain. We have new eye drops that seem to be helping, but at the end of the day, the eye needs to come out. Isis is my first child and my best friend. I am heart broken to find out that despite her amazing and friendly demeanor, she has been suffering.
Because of the cost of the surgery and the fact that the drops seems to be helping, we wont be doing the surgery until we can pay for it. I plan on reaching out to local organizations for assistance as well as doing an art auction for her.
Any help given would mean the world to me and my family. Isis the big sister to my kids, she hangs out with my dad while he works and follows my mom around just to annoy her (its an important job).
Please help spread the word to help Isis the Friendly Dog (that's her full name by the way) heal from this pain and continue to be the happy, friendly dog she is.
