Do you want to join us in making a permanent, positive difference to one rural African village?

We left Silicon Valley to live in the village of Mwendo, Rwanda with a goal of transforming a community. Excellent children's education is a foundational part of achieving that vision.

Thanks to generous donations, we have been able to build Pioneer Learning Centre. This is a primary and lower-secondary school where impoverished rural families can send their children to acquire a world class education

Now we are raising $85,000 to build a dormitory to accommodate 64 girls in secure environment where they can forge a strong sense of independence and self-reliance as they learn to manage their daily routines and responsibilities. It is our expectation that these girls are destined to be tomorrow's leaders.

I will be hiking Mount Karisimbi (as featured in the movie Gorillas in the Mist) on Wed December 6th, 2023 to raise the those funds. The mountain is 4,507 m (14,787 ft). Did anybody see the movie Gorillas in the Mist? I'm hoping for some companionship on the two-day hike, so please consider joining me.
