ChargePoint has set up this fundraising effort to assist the family in ensuring that her son, Jodha will receive the necessary education to carry on Ishika's legacy. Ishika was the leader of mobile and web teams for EV charging stations, a champion of women’s initiatives, and most importantly, a advocate for leadership and employee development at ChargePoint.
Her son Jodha
Jodha was born as a Severe IUGR baby born at 27w at a weight of just 1lb 6oz!!! He was given only 80% chance to live and a less than 10% chance to be free of disabilities.
He is now miraculously a funny, energetic 7 year old who is now in grade 2 and excelling at sports like gymnastics, swimming, baseball and ice skating.
She produced this miracle against all odds while being bed ridden for 7 weeks, with multiple life threatening conditions (preeclampsia and reversed umbilical artery blood flow) and not being able to walk for weeks after delivery and then pumping milk for his immature gut for over 1 ½ years while working the entire time!
Jodha is a living embodiment of his mom, Jodha means “fighter” in Sanskrit.

About Ishika:
Ishika Paul became an organ donor after her passing. Due to her state, she was declared brain dead of a massive brain hemorrhage within an hour, but her body and organs was preserved, like a modern day snow white.
She donated 6 vital organs including, 2 kidneys, liver, pancreas, small bowel, lungs. Her tissue/skin/bone were donated for grafts/allografts, both corneas and her O+ blood as well.
She saved her son 7 years ago and she saved 4 more lives after her life was taken from her while never asking for anything but her son to be successful.
We were never able to obtain full life insurance due to her pre-existing condition - and we had just bought a house and our son education's fund had not been started. Despite her body not worthy enough to be insured, somehow saved 4+ lives without asking for anything in return.
She asked me one thing in her last words. please take care of Jodha.
Please help with his education fund and fulfill her wish. His education was paramount for her. We will put these proceeds into a fund to be accessed when Jodha is old enough to go to university.
