Hello, my name is Heather. I am raising money for Ish Mora. I have known Ish and his beautiful wife, Erika, for almost 20 years. Ish is a minister who has worked tirelessly to provide for his family and to serve God. Last week, Ish had a seizure and stopped breathing. He was rushed to the hospital to find he had suffered two aneurisms and has a tumor. His prognosis was very bleak. He underwent several procedures on Thursday and miraculously survived. They were able to clip two of the aneurisms and repair them. Today, my husband, Dale, and I were able to talk to Ish on the phone. This is divine intervention. Everything that has happened to him should have a different outcome. Both Ish and Erika are not able to work during this time. They are preparing for surgery on Monday to remove the tumor and repair damage. He cannot have any aneurisms or a stroke, or he will not be able to have the surgery. His blood pressure must stay down, which is not easy while they battle to control pain. There is a long recovery ahead of them and Erika does not want to leave her best friends side. The couple's oldest son has returned from College to be closer to home. They have two younger children as well. Many people have reached out asking how they can help. Immediate needs are groceries at home and meals for Erika while she stay near Ish. The medical expenses are mounting. Apart from praying, this couple needs help financially.
