The decision of having my eye removed was far from easy. I was hesitant at first. It was the unbearable pain that led us to make this decision. My left eye is shrinking, it's very sick, it's been through several surgeries and I've lost all vision. With a heavy heart I made the decision to remove it and get a prosthetic eye because not only would it help remove the pain it will also help preserve my good eye. It was hard to adjust to monocular vision but I've been able to manage. Having a prosthetic eye will take some time to adjust physically and mentally but with God's help I know we will get through this season. More than anything we would appreciate your prayers.
