Dear Friends and Family,
I have some exciting news that I want to share with you. I have experienced a spiritual journey as a youth leader at church (Willow Creek). This has really helped me come to an understanding that I'm loved by God and I have a great desire to serve Him.
This July, our church group has planned a trip to the Dominican Republic to build a Water Treatment Plant for villages that don’t have fresh water. The team will actually do the construction work alongside the families that will eventually be utilizing this fresh water for things such as cooking, bathing and washing clothes. I hope to join 14 others the week of July 18-27 in serving on this project. I will be sharing meals and getting to know the families with whom I will be serving. I hope to be able to express that we care about them and that even more importantly, God cares for them.
I hope you can share in my excitement about this mission. I am hoping that our family and friends can help support me with both prayer and funding. The cost of this mission trip is $1550.00 in which I have raised $250.00. Please consider assisting me with the remainder of the cost, even if it is just $10 or more.
