Isaiah's path to healing

My son's dear friend Isaiah was admitted to the hospital with a sinus infection that had moved into his brain.  By the time he arrived at the hospital, the infection had caused so much swelling that doctors had to remove part of his skull bone in order to make room.  He has been and remains on life support but has been stable and doctors are hopeful that he will be able to breathe on his own very soon.  The extent of the brain damage is unknown.  Doctors believe that recovery will likely require many months of healing and therapy.  

Isaiah is the light of his mother's life and she has been by his side sleeping in a pull out bed next to him in the hospital since he arrived.  She has only recently been able to gain full time employment and lives paycheck to paycheck.  With no other parent to help, the responsibility to manage Isaiah's care while also paying the bills rests on his mother.  She will in all likelihood will lose her job as she focuses all her attention on helping her son heal. As a mother, I cannot imagine being forced to make the decisions that she has had to make and will continue to have to make over the next several months.  When I asked what she would do about bills, she said she could think of nothing else but being able bring her son home again.  

I am asking that you help make the load lighter for this sweet boy and his mother.  Let's surround this family with the love and support they so deserve.
