Isaiah Escalante was taken from us on Tuesday March 21st 2023 at 10pm.

A drunk driver ran into him while he was riding his bike

Tucson police say Isaiah Williams Escalante, was pronounced dead at the scene at the intersection of East Speedway Boulevard and North County Club Road.

The crash happened just after 10 p.m. According to the Tucson Police Department, a Nissan Frontier pickup failed to yield the right-of-way and turned left in front of a Honda Accord that was traveling east through the intersection. The impact from the collision forced the Honda into the bicycle lane and up onto the sidewalk, colliding with the bicyclist.

He didn't deserve to lose his life. He was always gentle and kind and only want good things for everyone not just his family.

He was an amazing young man. I'm so proud that he was my son. I'm so grateful I had his love for the time he was here.

My son will live in my heart till my dying breath. I love my son deeply to my very core.
