Isaiah selected for PanAms Ecuador

My name is Isaiah Ingram. I started karate just before I turned 5 years old. I have loved karate from my very first class.
I began competing in kumite (sparring) at age 7 and attained my junior black belt shortly after my 10th birthday. I am now 13 years old and compete in advanced level kumite with achievements including: Gold at Provincials 2014 & 2015; Silver at the 2016 BC Winter Games; and Bronze at the 2016 National Championships. I have been a member of Team British Columbia for 2 years; I am a new member on the Junior National Team and was part of the team that trained and competed at the WKF Karate 1 Camp & Youth Cup in Umag, Croatia in June-July 2016.
10 days after returning from Croatia I was required to train in Toronto with the Junior National Team and was selected by Karate Canada to represent the -45kg division in kumite at the Junior Pan American Championships in Ecuador, August 22-28, 2016. I am so grateful to Karate Canada for selecting me (only 2 athletes may go for each division) to the coaches, my dojo, teammates and especially my parents for their support.
All of the travel involved to train at this elite level has taken a toll on my parents financially and I hope you can help. These funds are going directly towards our expenses for Ecuador. My mother is running this campaign for me and would also appreciate your help in sharing this campaign on social media.
All of my supporters names will be printed on a shirt I will wear proudly in Ecuador. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
