No one ever wakes up thinking they will hear the devastating news that a loved one is gone. I am writing as a close friend of the Hagen family. All was right in the world last night and today this sweet family is mourning the loss of two loved ones. Around 9:30 pm on Wednesday, September 20 th, Dakota and her 4 year old son Isaiah were tragically killed in a car accident. This is something so unimaginable, and their loss has already deeply affected the family. Anyone who knows the Hagen family knows family is everything. They share every milestone together and now have to share in grieving this great loss. Sage Morris-Hagen is the 6 year old daughter of Dakota and sister of Isaiah. Shawn Hagen, father of both Sage and Isaiah, is now left with the heart wrenching job of raising this little girl and also continuing the loving legacy of her Mother and brother. I am asking for any help you can give! Funeral expenses are outrageous, and this sweet family has double the financial burden to bear.
