On September 12, 2026, our dear Rachel Ero-Phillips experienced every mother’s worst nightmare when her beloved 34-year old son, Isaiah Oluwasheun Ero-Phillips, passed away unexpectedly.

Isaiah’s sudden passing has left a profound void in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. He was a bright light in this world, known for his kindness, vibrant spirit, and the deep love he had for his family and friends.

Isaiah also experienced profound loss at a young age when his father passed away. His father was a remarkable man and a devoted dad whose influence reached far beyond his own family. He left a lasting impression on many of Isaiah’s friends, but especially on Isaiah himself. His father’s love, example, and presence stayed with him throughout his life and helped shape the man Isaiah became.

To lose Isaiah so suddenly, under circumstances that have left his family with painful unanswered questions, has made an already devastating loss even more difficult to comprehend.

As Rachel faces the overwhelming grief of losing her son, we want to surround her and the Ero-Phillips family with a community of love and support so that the financial burden of laying Isaiah to rest is not something they have to carry alone.

We have created this GoFundMe with a goal of $20,000 to help Rachel give Isaiah the dignified, beautiful, and proper homegoing he deserves. All funds raised will go toward funeral arrangements, memorial services, and supporting the family as they navigate the incredibly difficult days ahead.
