Isaiah Caldwell: The Grand Finale Scholarship

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and heartbreaking loss of our dear friend and brother, Isaiah Caldwell/Zay. On the morning of April 27, 2025, Isaiah was fatally shot during a senseless act of violence on the campus of Elizabeth City State University, following the Yard Fest event, the culmination of the university's Viking Fest celebration. He was a kind, compassionate, and inspiring individual who touched the lives of many in our community with his generosity, warmth, and unwavering support for others. As we come together to mourn this profound loss, we want to honor Isaiah's memory in a way that reflects the values and legacy he leaves behind.

We are raising these funds to establish an endowment scholarship in Isaiah's honor. This scholarship will be dedicated to supporting students, helping them pursue their education and future with the same determination and heart that Isaiah exemplified every day.
