Isaiah Boyd's Funeral Expenses

It's so difficult to start this. It's one of those situations you think will never happen. That you will go your whole life without something so terrible happening. And yet it did.

Our wonderful friends Ken and Miranda Boyd lost their 22 year old son last night.

Isaiah was an incredible soul. He had a laugh that made you even in your worst mood, laugh along with him. His smile touched your heart and his eyes always had a twinkle of mischief in them. He grew up here in Libby, riding bikes in the summer with his brothers and riding snowmobiles and sledding in the winters. He fished, horn hunted and went hunting with his dad. He spent time with his aunt and uncle in Washington, during the summers and was always around to help his grandparents.

He graduated from Libby High School and set off in the adventure of life. He ended up in Kalispell working hard and enjoying life after work.

Isaiah's absence is going to leave a huge hole in his family's hearts and lives. Life won't be the same and he will be missed always. Along with the emotional hurt that is going on, the family is met with financial costs that are going to be difficult to be met. The cost of burying your child but financially and emotionally is something no one should experience. This family has been a staple in our community, Miranda has taught students for so many years from Head Start to the first grade. Both parents have volunteered with their children's high school activities and sports. And they have been there for so many people through so many issues and situations without hesitation. We may not be able to ease their hurt over losing their first born, but hopefully we as a community can come together and help ease the stress of the finances of the funeral and burial costs.
