Isaiah Bell

Hello, my name is John Bell, and I am writing this with a heart shattered into a thousand pieces. On December 11, 2025, I lost my beloved 19-year-old son, Isaiah, to an invisible battle with mental illness. He moved through life as a gentle giant, his kind heart and contagious laughter filling the space around him. But his proudest role, the one he wore like a badge of honor, was that of a big brother. The world has grown dimmer since his bright light was taken from us.

As a single father, Isaiah was my world. Navigating this devastating loss as a fatherless father feels impossible. I am now facing the sudden and overwhelming costs of funeral arrangements and final expenses, all while trying to simply breathe through the grief.

Why We're Reaching Out:
I am humbly asking for your support in three ways:

1. To give my son a dignified farewell: Funds will go directly to funeral services and related costs, allowing us to honor his memory with the love he deserves.
2. To help a father survive the unthinkable: Contributions will provide a crucial buffer, allowing me the time and space to navigate this traumatic loss without the immediate pressure of financial burdens.
3. To honor his story by helping others: Isaiah’s struggle was real, and he is not alone. A portion of funds will be dedicated to raising awareness for youth mental health, advocating for better monitoring, support systems, and accessible services so other families might be spared this pain.

Our Plea for Awareness:
Isaiah’s story is a tragic reminder that mental illness does not discriminate by age. It targets our brightest young people, often in silence. We cannot let this be in vain. By supporting this campaign, you are also joining a conversation—helping to break the stigma, urging parents to trust their instincts, and advocating for the critical services our youth desperately need.

Any donation, no matter the size, will make a profound difference in helping me lay my son to rest and begin to face a future without him. If you are unable to donate, please share his story widely in his memory. Hold your loved ones close, and please, check in on the young people in your life—not just on their grades or their plans, but on their hearts.

Thank you for your love, your support, and for helping me ensure that Isaiah’s life continues to make a difference.

With immense gratitude,

John Bell
