Isaiah Beasley

It is with a heavy heart to share about the passing of my nephew, Isaiah.

In addition to dealing with the tragedy of Isaiah’s death, my sister and her family are also faced with the burden of transporting his body home from overseas in order to arrange a proper burial. The cost of this task is going to be approximately $10,000.

I have set up this GoFundMe account in order to give an opportunity to those of you who know and love the Beasley family to help them bear this immense financial burden. Even a small contribution will help in big ways. Your prayers for Isaiah’s family and loved ones are also greatly appreciated at this time.

If you don’t know my sister, Rachel, and her family, I’ve attached her response to losing her son below:

“Our hearts stopped yesterday.
We lost our sweet, kind, crazy, brave, little-bit-ghetto, Jesus warrior yesterday morning.

I almost shared these pictures the other day to let the world know how proud we were of him. He was having a tough week.
Not many people will know the hell he has fought through. But now “his joy is complete.”

As Scott reminded me, we are THANKFUL to God to be Isaiah Beasley’s mom & dad for almost 23 years. That’s all we know to focus on at this point.

This was the son we were given….
As he traveled and navigated to his Airbnb in Germany last night he had a conversation on his flight:

“Totally had a God moment. A woman from our church was on the same flight as me. Come to find out she has been grieving a loss of her mother and she and I got to sit next to each other on the plane. I prayed for her and got to share scripture and pray it over. God has amazing timing.”

Then he stopped to buy a struggling lady dinner somewhere between the airport and his room.
He never seemed to miss an opportunity.
Sooo many stories we could tell.

THANK YOU to the countless people that poured into Isaiah and loved him SO well! We were in constant awe of how God used people along every single step of his journey.

For now our world feels frozen and upside down. Because this happened overseas it will look a bit different. We’re hanging onto Jesus with all we’ve got.

We and the girls are definitely processing so we will probably be out of pocket for awhile and might not be able to take calls.
Thank you for your texts and prayers! They are much felt and appreciated.”
