As many of you may know, there was a terrible fire in Salisbury, NC on Saturday June 6th at The Grand on Julian. My son Isaiah and his family lived in the building that is now a total loss. 23 apartments were destroyed leaving about 60 people without a home to go back to. Fortunately, everyone is safe and only minor injuries were reported. We are thankful! After several days of chaos , Isaiah and Ariel have started to process the magnitude of what has happened and what is to come. Their most urgent need at this time is help with the expenses of recovering their things from the apartment and moving them to a storage facility until they are able to find housing.
